The Newton 3000w Power Converter – C2 receives 12V power from a deep cycle leisure battery and converts this into 230V mains power to ensure that the Newton Pump continues to operate even during a power outage.

A two phase charger ensures that the battery is fully charged at all times by trickle charging to keep the battery at optimal charge, and then by boosting up to 20 Amps to quickly re-charge the battery after extended use.

This 3000W unit is designed to be used with single Newton pumps with power outputs of up to 750W only or with dual pumps of 400W to 750W when switched by one of our Control Panels.

Purchase Code C2 is for the Power Converter only. Purchase code C4 includes a 115A/H deep cycle leisure battery, a secure battery box, and the power leads for connection to the mains and the battery.

The Power Converter will provide approximately 24 hours* of protection to a pump that is operating every 30 minutes within our Titan-Pro Sump Chamber. Further protection can be achieved with the use of additional batteries (* This is the typical figure for most installations. Higher pumping head and longer discharge line can reduce this figure).
