Titan-Pro and Titan Range of Sump Pumps
The Titan-Pro and Titan range of sump pump systems are applicable for use in domestic and commercial basements as well as civil applications. 
The Titan sump pump is favoured for installation into a growing domestic basement waterproofing market. It is the smallest packaged pumping station provided by Newton, and the largest selling packaged sump pump system in the United Kingdom.
The Titan-Pro sump pump system is the first tailor made sump chamber developed specifically for use with our Newton System 500 basement waterproofing system and the Basedrain conduit drainage system. This sump pump system can be specified into both domestic and commercial basement projects and can be positioned both internally and externally depending upon the designers requirements. The Titan-Pro sump pump system has been designed to accommodate both clean and grey water (Titan-Pro White) for all basement water management applications or the Titan Pro Green sump pump which is supplied as a system for dealing with surface and ground water from lightwells.
The Titan-Pro White System has many unique design benefits including:
- Adjustable ribbed neck so that the sump chamber can be installed prior to having decisions made on internal floor finishes.
- Pre fitted bulkhead connections for ease of connection of internal and external pipework installation.
- A predefined datum line so the sump chamber can be cast at the correct level every time.
- A unique shaped chamber which can be rotated to accommodate both corner or central positioning
- Bell bottom footing which is self anchoring
- Comes with a choice of 450mm x 450mm recessed lid which fit into the circular ribbed neck.
Unique Features
Without a doubt the most unique feature with the Titan-Pro sump pump system is the ability for the professional waterproofing contractor to make all connections into the sump pump chamber above the slab (through the closed cell insulation spacer layer) which not only makes the system more maintainable but also saves time and money in cutting out or casting off areas to run the discharge pipe work.

Waterproofing a Grade 1 Listed Structure with Newton System 500 including Newton Titan Pumping System
This Grade I listed structure located in Central London had two large tunnel areas which needed to be upgraded to house all new plant gear which was moved from the main building to gain space. The main contractor employed the services of a Newton Specialist Basement Contractor (NSBC) to design and install a water management system to protect the new internal environment within the existing tunnels. Newton 508 Mesh was installed to the vaulted areas.

Conversion of 15 room basement into a luxury property
As a part of this circa £50 million pound development, a Newton Specialist Basement Contractor (NSBC), was commissioned to design and install a robust and cost effective water management solution to four large basements areas used for habitable accommodation in accordance with BS8102. Once the RC concrete basement box was created, Newton 508 was curtain hung to all earth retaining walls, terminating behind the Newton Basedrain rebated into the structural slab. Newton 508 was also introduced into the basements as a floor membrane followed by insulating the screed.

Waterproofing a 15 room basement
Installation of Newton System 500 and Newton Titan Pumping Systems
This Georgian property is situated in one of most sought after locations of Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent. The client converted this extensive 15 room basement into a luxury stand alone property; converting the space from a damp storage area into a Grade III habitable apartment. Newton System 500 was installed onto all external and internal areas of the property.
Once the new concrete slab has been installed and levelled, Newton Basedrain was placed on top of the slab level around the retaining walls. 50mm of closed cell insulation was installed abutting the drainage channel. From here, the Newton 508 membrane was placed on top of the insulation and sealed to the up stand of the Basedrain.
