Newton System 400
Newton System 400 comprises a range of composite membranes that include a dimpled core of HDPP or HDPE together with a filter fabric that is attached to the core during the manufacturing process. When placed to the retaining wall these membranes protect the primary waterproofing membrane from impact and water pressure, diverting water down to a perforated land drain for removal.
Newton System 400 membranes have either a 6mm or 10mm dimpled core and are mechanically fixed to a retaining wall already treated with the primary waterproofing membrane such as Newton 902 Primer.
System 400 membranes provide drainage protection and are suitable as an externally applied solution to all retaining walls. Where the requirement is for an Environmental Grade to BS8102 or Grade 2 or Grade 3, we would recommend that Newton System 500 be specified instead.

Highly Advanced Single Component Liquid Waterproofing Material
Newton 401 FlexProof-X1 is a highly advanced single component liquid waterproofing material, which forms an elastomeric polymer membrane that is rainproof in minutes and capable of handling severe building movements and deformations. 401 FlexProof-X1 is quite unique with amazing characteristics allowing it to be used without a primer, without mixing and in weather conditions that preclude the use of alternatives.
When applied by trowel or squeegee to retained walls Newton 401 FlexProof-X1 provides a continuous highly flexible membrane that is resistant to very high water pressures, even over construction joints.

Newton 402 Aquabit
Flexible Membrane for Retaining Walls
Newton 402 Aquabit is a single component water based waterproofing bituminous mortar that includes polystyrene micro-spheres that allow it to be applied obtaining a level of thickness up to 3mm, modified to make the product extremely workable and able with just one coat to fill surface irregularities, typical on concrete foundation walls. The material is also characterised by a high elasticity, crack bridging ability and a good salt resistance. It can be applied both on old and new walls.

Newton 403 HydroBond
Hydrophilic and Bonding Membrane for Raft and Wall Waterproofing
Newton 403 HydroBond is a very high performance composite sheet membrane that features a locking fleece to one side and a polymer hydrophilic coating to the other side. When placed below the new raft or against the wall shuttering, the poured concrete engages into the locking fleece so that the membrane is completely locked in and monolithic to the concrete thus ensuring that if a leak did occur it cannot track to the construction joints. The hydrophilic coating seals small holes that may be accidentally formed during fixing of the reinforcing steel or the pouring or compaction of the concrete.

Newton 410 GeoDrain (M18)
Externally Applied Drainage Membrane
Newton 410 Geodrain 410 Geodrain is a two-core drainage sheet consisting of a non-woven geotextile filter layer thermally welded to a water impermeable HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) drainage membrane. Newton 410 Geodrain provides outstanding drainage and protection to the outside face of basement walls, preventing the build-up of water pressure and protecting the structure from aggressive water, chemicals and toxins.
Typical Applications:
- As the drainage layer of an externally applied waterproofing system when used in conjunction with sheet applied or liquid applied external tanking membrane to BS8102:2009
- Protection of the structure from aggressive chemicals in the ground water
- To prevent the build up of ground water to retaining walls
